just picked this up on ebay this morning.

if i outbid you i am sorry, but bid more than $.95 next time . i got this with $5 shipping for $6.04. i know it will take a little work especially on the toe, but hey that's half the fun.

    what you think??

Looks like my Engstrom with a brass frameback except it doesn't have the thumb notch. If it is, it's a great shaver. Check it out:

this is most likely an Erik Anton Berg. Great razors, very very lightweight - hopefully, you like them this way

per the auction, it is a JOH ENGSTROM ESKILSTUNA SWEDEN. i have a couple of blades that need help on the toe. this one will add to that but should jump into the #2 spot for trial. need to try my hand at modifying the blade on a throwaway 1st.

as for the heft, 2 of my favorite shavers is a depews perfect razor and a union blade. they are both very light blades but shave well.

    thanks for the comments.

    Oh, brand mystery solved then

DPPR is basically a wedge in my book, and this one looks like what I had, which was a very thin blade with a frame insert - overall much lighter. But, as you say, this may be what's best for you. Michael Parker loves lightweight razors, for example

    Cheers
