VINTAGE LARGE ESCHER STRAIGHT RAZOR WATER HONE EXCELL.
How many of you guys were watching this? Quite amazing huh!!!! I have a 6" X 2" the same width as this one and bought it several months ago at considerably less than this. However, this one is of the yellowish color which I am told is supposed to be a bit better than the gray ones?????? I am just showing how prices have gone up in the past year or so the same goes for razors too.

Last year I remember several in 500+ range and one above 750.
This one is not stamped, so it's a bit of a risk because it doesn't seem that the seller is an expert... What he calls Y/G may not be necessarily correct

I was looking at that myself and had to scratch my head on the color also. I might pay that price for a 3X8 green or yellow.

yes, to me it seemed that the seller just responded to inquiries, as to what he thinks but doesn't really know. otoh rich knows enough, so i'm sure he's considered the risks.

may be the other escher that went for 150 today will start a trend towards lower prices on these.... yeah right
