Anybody know or want to have a guess what this stone is?

Is that an Olga HoHo? It's very hard to determine with the information given

They should at least show the top of the box since they mention a label! If it was in the U.S. I would venture to say it was an Arkansas stone of some sort with oil used for lubrication, but with a picture like that it could be anything.

Thanked: 1587Yeah, my first thought was that oil was involved there too Chris - that little chip/dry patch on the right makes me think it's like the oilstone my FIL gave me a few years back - probably better for tools and knives, maybe restoration...
But as you guys have said, with a photo like that who can tell anything? I'd be asking for more photos if I were interested in it.
