    Is that an Olga HoHo? It's very hard to determine with the information given

    They should at least show the top of the box since they mention a label! If it was in the U.S. I would venture to say it was an Arkansas stone of some sort with oil used for lubrication, but with a picture like that it could be anything.

    Yeah, my first thought was that oil was involved there too Chris - that little chip/dry patch on the right makes me think it's like the oilstone my FIL gave me a few years back - probably better for tools and knives, maybe restoration...

    But as you guys have said, with a photo like that who can tell anything? I'd be asking for more photos if I were interested in it.
