Hard to tell if it's a grind (to hide/fix a chip) or simply horribly broken.
Sellers need to pay more attention to this stuff.
Geesh...

Has anyone seen this today? with shipping its just over 21$ maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing in razors. Maybe these kings crown points or Bart specials are the way to go .
Well if anyone wants to send me the contents of their junk drawer I'll break the blades and make up a good name for them.
Heck if they go over the on ebite the steaks and beer will be on me..

At least the seller belived the blade is not as discolored as it appears. I'm not sure how he could prove it is any other color than that which it appears to be though

Thanked: 0I couldn't open the link that was posted at the beginning of the thread...filtered at work...but I believe that is the razor that I just purchased. It is quite unusuall which is why I bid on it to begin with. I honestly didn't think I'd get it. I'm a newb, so I'm not sure if that was a good puchase or not. I'll try and post some better pics when I actually get the razor.

Welcome to SRP… I really hope I am wrong about this one.
When I first saw the auction (the one with the sign "shave 10c clean towels extra") I thought the blade looked "strange", so I asked the seller for close up photos. The seller emailed me back and said additional photos were now posted.
I believe the razor is broken at the toe end, so it looks like two notches.... (The Devils Pitchfork or Bart Simpson).
Ebay can be a treacherous place to buy collectors items… or anything… Let us know how it goes… it may not be bad at all but you never know till you have the razor in hand.

Thanked: 0I thought the point looked interestion. I was assuming that it wasn't originally made that way. I placed a bid just for fun. I didn't think I was gonna get it. I've bid on a few other razors and have been sniped on everyone, so I bid just to see what would happen. The way I look at it, I get to practice my restoration/honing skills, and maybe shorten the blade. And if it turns out that it's a total piece of crap, well, then, I guess I've got a good "look what a dumb newb I am" story. Alway looking for the positive things in life.
