Thread: What's wrong with this Boker?

I just won this on the Bay with no one offering a bid other than mine? What am I missing here. This looked like a great razor to me and no one even tried a last minute snipe.

Looks fine to me. Good job. Sometimes that higher starting price just turns people off.

Not all that much that a good cleaning and honing will not correct. a good buy.

I think last night was a slow night on the Bay or something. I grabbed 2 razors; bid just over the current max with about an hour to go and won both.

I see a slight bit of uneven hone wear on the tip but that can be worked out without much touble. Thats a nice buy.

This must be what you were referencing in the PM. I didn't get a Boker, but I did grab another Pipe and some German 6/8 full hollow.

It showed up today and it is in really good shape. Needs minor cleaning, but the blade still mows down arm hairs really well. I don't think it's gonna take much to get this into rotation.
