    Looks like someone snapped most of that blade off and welded or soldered (?) some of it or another blade back in the broken area.

    A metal vivisectionist must have gotten hold of it.

    Poor Duck! Guess the bidder is going for the scales.

    Looks like a piece of wet and dry sandpaper used to hold the blade open.

    Looks like someone was grinding a straight razor and then decided to turn it into a shavette. Chalk it up to another weird thing I've lived long enough to see now!

    If you are interested enough ask the seller what is going on with the blade.
    if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

    It is the holder for a Weck disposable blade holder soldered to a broken DD.You can just make out the name on the holder.Best regardsGary
