Which is heavier: The razor or the pricetag
I've had this on my watching list, and just over the last few hours it's gone up by at least $100. I mean I like a big blade too, but that's some serious cash.

Thanked: 3795The masonic blades always seem to go really high. I guess I could start etching my Wapis!

People who bid a dozen times on the same item make me wonder if someone is standing next to them handing them money as they bid. How can they suddenly afford more for the item each time they are outbid?
Any psychologists out there?Find me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

Its like putting coins into the slot machine for some people, they crave the action or competition.

I've had a few where I rebid as the auction comes to an end because it really stings to see that an auction ended and you lost by $1.
PS I'm surprised this one got no bids: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=006
I was tempted...

Actually some people have started doing this already... right now on zeepk-type blades, perhaps somebody will expand the market to double arrows and wapis
I usually put them on my watch list out of curiosity where they end - haven't seen one that high before, but it's a pretty wide blade.

I've seen 2 razors from that guy with old masonic etchings, the other one was big as hell as well, 8/8 to about 9/8 in size and it went for just over 300.
But the etching seems to be all but gone on this one.
I would imagine by the way that the new etchings on zeepk blades, the ones of which I've seen look kinda shoddy imo, would go for quite a bit less.Last edited by Chady; 05-05-2008 at 09:31 AM.

That is plain crazy! I cannot see paying more than 150 or so for an ebay razor that is going to need work. For 230, the razor had better be rare and mint(ish).
