Thread: eBay pet peeve

The RAD has been out of control and I have been getting a lot of razors off of the bay and what have you. When I ship an item I use rubber bands around the paper towel or bubble wrap to secure the item. Many sellers use tape and it is a PITA to get it off. Some in layers upon layers to the point that there is more danger to the item in unpacking it then in the journey it made to reach me. I feel better now, end of rant.

yes, I think that excessive taping is just cruel. I usually use one 3-5cm piece of tape. Bill Ellis has a nice directions on how to pack a razor. I have 2 datapoints that he follows them and they work nicely

I hate that! It took me like ten min to get one out! it was also wrapped on a ziplock bag then taped again then stuffed in cardboard then an envelope!

I would rather have to cut through layers of tape and bubble wrap and know the item is very safe inside rather than get an item wrapped in two papper towels and a a rubber band and have the razor come out and have chipped edges.
