Default May have won by losing?

tonight I set a snipe on this

in all honesty it was going to have the blade cut back to the chip and the point rounded and then the scales were going to be shortened. I was going to attempt to make a Project Coochie Razor . But I was out bid. Go figure.
The chip is about an inch and a half from the heel so it would have been a real short blade.
Then I realized that I forgot I sniped these

Well now I have my choice of two, the humpback, a Joesph Elliot, looks interesting enough that I'm hoping theres no damage to it. Looks like I may have lucked out by losing. I hope

no, the first one, the one I was originally after I lost. After that I realized I had a snipe on the second one and won those. I totally forgot I set the second bid until after it closed
