Well, obviously someone took notice of the two lots of 10 blades and so the following week at least 6 lots of blade-only razors showed up on Ebay.

The density of decent razors in the lots was a little lower...instead of 8 of 10 being pretty nice, it was more like 4 of 10 were nice, but still...I decided to participate.

The first thing I did was go in and bid the minimum just to keep the seller from withdrawing the auction (I have gotten burned that way before).

Then, I was going to snipe them at the last minute, but I got REALLY REALLY BUSY and never followed up.

So, guess what? I got 3 of the lots for the minimum bid of around $14.00.

In looking at the pictures, it looks like out of the three lots, I can count on about 10 big fat razors, half of them barber notched wedges and half of them 6/8 or 7/8 hollow ground razors.

So, a little better overall than what was in the $275.00 auction.

And it cost me about $50.00.

And no frenzy at the end.

Cool, huh...Get it? Someone bids things up like crazy on Auction 1 and 2, and then a bunch of sellers jump on the bandwagon, dump a bunch more razors on the market, and everyone is pretty much tired of the whole thing, so the price tanks.

Nice pattern. Gotta watch for this in the future.
