    Default Go Global and Prosper!

I live in Italy and I am very frustrated by the fact that there are many US sellers that won't ship their razors outside the CONUS so I'd like to make the following argument: Go Global and Prosper.

    1. There is more competition in the US compared to Europe. US buyers have about 3 times as many razors to choose from as those of us in Europe. Your razors will get much more attention from European buyers.
    2. The strong Euro means that you will get higher prices for your razors. Five years ago €50 was equal to $50. Now €50 is about $80. When I spend €50, it still feels like $50 to me but it's $80 to you!

I realize that there are some disadvantages such as having to personally take packages to the post office and more paperwork, but I generally think it's worthwhile. If I'm wrong, I would certainly be interested in hearing why.

2nd that. I live in Belgium and have the same frustrations sometimes as the poster above.

I've allready bought and received many knives from the USA. No probs.

I don't get the joke ... if the payment clears what does it matter? If you're referring to the e-mail scams, I have to say that they're totally entertaining. I usually delete spam without opening but I love to read the e-mails about how someone wants to give me millions of dollars for doing practically nothing.

No offense intended and correct me if I am wrong but Italy's postal service has a reputation for losing parcels. I am not sure if it is deserved or not but it is a concern for USA sellers. I specify that I will ship to specific countries and exclude others Italy among them.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Nigeria is known for more than just 419 scams. They also attempt to buy high ticket items (like laptops) and either use a hacked paypal account or send you an email which looks like it came from paypal and notifies you of payment which they actually never sent. In the instance of a hacked paypal account you get the money and it clears but then a week later paypal rips the money back from you once they've been contacted about it being fraudulent... by that time you've shipped the item.

If I'm not mistaken you can choose which regions of the world you'll send to e.g. Europe, Asia, Africa, etc etc

You can also mention in your add which country you'll send to and which you wont e.g. International shipment only to: Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, etc etc

Belgium should not be an issue. You can check via my eBay name (Chibbi123456) how many knives and such I have allready received from the USA.

I can't speak for other countries of course

I've lived here for five years and frequently receive "care packages" from home of essentials that I can't live without (like Starbucks ground coffee) and I've never lost a package ... However, I think that the Italian post office is excessively slow. Rather than boycott an entire country I think that you should require Italian buyers to pay extra for insurance.

    1up on that.
I can't help but think its funny to see an item I would gladly pay double for only to notice that the item is only for sale in either France or the US and the it expires before you can get a reply from the seller or the auction specifically states that he will not do international.

Sorry, but apparently I forgot to add grammar to my post.
