DD Lifetime, Grim Reaper
DUBL DUCK STRAIGHT RAZOR CELLULOID & INLAY GRIM REAPER - eBay (item 170223035647 end time May-31-08 15:42:18 PDT)
Honestly, if no one gets this I think it's kind of silly. I bid, but already bought another razor so I'm holding back. Anyway, this is really cheap I'd say. Anyone have plans for sniping?

Thanked: 13245I have been watching that one too but the scales are not in the greatest shape, and according to some here that's the only difference in DD razors anyway so why is it even at $80 now...... I mean really isn't this just a Special #1 with fancy Scales????? so it should go for what $20-$25 right?????
Sorry just being my normal smarta$$ self sometimes I just can't resist

Well, I was bidding on it... But I won a Craftsman with a chromized blade so I will have to beg off this one.

Considering the overall shape that's still alot of money for that one.

If it's half as good as the Sta-Sharp Chromized blade it will be worth it's weight in gold.

Thanked: 0I don't think it is. I'm shocked that I won it. I put a very low bid on it just in case, I've spent too much this week already, but man have I wanted one of these so bad...
The last two that went on the bay sold for WAY more and were in far worse condition. One had a cut down blade and went for about $200 the other had split scales and a lot of rust and went for $300. The last one I saw in this condition went for over $350. Maybe I'm blind but a trip through the ultrasonic, some work with the dremel and some polish and this razor will be in excellent condition. Almost no hone wear, a straight blade with no chips or cracks... Of course I just wanted one for shaving with not for collecting. My hands down favorite shaver right now is my DD Satinwedge. Just a smooooth shaver. If this one or the stainless don't shave as smoothly I'll sell them right off in the BST.

Congrats! It looks good to me. Obviously the cracks in the scales suck, but it looks like they aren't bad. Some cleaning and polishing should improve that razor a lot.
