    Default My eBay sales

I've got a couple of razors up on eBay.

    A 6/8 Neverust:
    6/8 Neverust Straight Razor - (eBay.ca item 140238290297 end time 07-Jun-08 19:57:27 EDT)

and an interesting 5/8 Japanese blade:
    5/8 CO A Warranted straight razor - (eBay.ca item 140238292483 end time 07-Jun-08 20:09:28 EDT)

I was never quite able, with my pedestrian honing skills, to get them good enough to join my rotation. They will make good challenges for the truly expert honer or excellent practice razors for the journeyman.

    Check 'em out.

Well I put money on it. If I don't end up with it I'll at least fuel expectations

Your eBay listings specify US and Canada only ... Why not to Europe? I would really like to know why. Really.

That's great but it doesn't help because before you can ship to me, I have to know that your stuff is available and if you only list US and Canada I'll never see it on eBay. The reason is that, if I search on the US site, there are 1,000 razors every day and 80% of the entries specify US only so I search on the UK site because it saves me time because I know that all the items can be shipped to me. But when I search on the UK site and specify "worldwide" your items don't appear because you didn't specify Europe also. If you put Europe in your listing, you'll get a lot more attention, I guarantee it.

Thanks very much for your response.

    Revision made. Dig it!

I also did some research and changed the shipping costs to precisely match what I expect the actual shipping to be rather than just an estimate to ensure my costs are covered. I've mailed a few razors before so I'm pretty confident that the new costs are correct. Unfortunately they appear to have taken much better on the Japanese blade than the Neverust, but be assured, I will try to charge the actual cost for shipping. That's $2 to Canada, $3.20 to the US and $6.40 elsewhere.

    Thanks for the prod Chimensch.

PS eBay tells me I can't make the changes after a bid has been entered so I'll be doing my best Jerry rigging to get the actual shipping costs to the buyer on the Neverust.

Well, the CO A goes to ragnost in the UK. It mails in the morning.
Thanks for the bid, ragnost and thanks again for the nudge Chimensch.

The Neverust went to a buyer named wingman. If that's a member here, thank-you too.
