Ah, I saw that one and was wondering who made it (couldn't read the writing on the tang). Looks good, I might put in a bid as well.

    Hey Josh,

This may not be a fair question to ask and if you think it is not please feel free not to answer it. If you were to sell this razor on the BST forum how much would you ask? Also, I have seen a few of your other razors for sale here why did you choose ebay?

That is a beauty. I seem to remember that one when you first finished it and posted pics in the forum. If not that one, it was similar. Regardless, I love that blade and scales.

    Matt,

I have been pricing my razors at $250, but that's lower than what most of the other guys are charging for handmade blades. I chose eBay this time to get a sense for what a faiir price would be, and also to level the playing field a bit. Every time I post one in the BST, I get responses from guys who were disappointed that they missed it. This way they get to decide whether it's worth paying a few bucks more and getting it, vs. not even having the chance.

Super work, Josh. That's a real work of art. The long shank and tang make it a unique piece. Any shaver who digs that should be very happy at landing that razor.

Looks like your pricing is close so far, Josh. you might want to sell another on a Friday Night or Saturday. Those are busier times. Those in the market for a new hand forged razor aren't necessarily looking on eBay usually. Just some things to consider. Congrats on the sale and the purchase!

And you may also want to list it under:

Collectibles > Vanity, Perfume & Shaving > Shaving > Straight Razors

    Default I won!

Well it's mine now! The final price was 179.50. That is quite a deal. Sorry about the snipe, I figured other people were sniping so I figured I may as well.
