I dont trusted my eyes, when I found this thread
But Ockham is right, the sets are only similar. The set from manyrazor on my site was not cheap, thats is right. But I think it is not easy to find a second set like this he sold. Not one ivory scale was brocken, no rust, no nicks and all 7 razors in one box.
The new owner had at last only to pay 72,- Euro for one razor. I think this is not to much for a straight in this conditions with ivory handle.
But Manfred (manyrazor) make his own prices, and I will make mines. I think at the photos on my site you can easily see, which razors are from him and which are mines. And if not, you must only send a e-mail and ask

Thanked: 174Buddel,
I looked at your 7 day set and thought it was stunning. Ivory handles with silver pins.
The skill to make a set like that would be impressive today let alone 100 years ago.
Every part of the razors was crafted by hand. Just superb craftsmanship. One of the best sets I've ever seen for sale.
Your selling price was very fair and congratulations to whoever purchased it from you.

No offence intended Buddel. I am sorry if you thought that I was saying that the set was overpriced (even if you didn't priced it as I seem to understand).
I think that Joelski78 was surprised to see what he thought was the same set first sold on ebay for less than 200 euro and then sell on fine-razor for more than the double. One can easily see why he could have been mistaken (if you are not looking carefully you can think that they are the same...)
When I said that the price of the set was very consequent I didn't meant that it was overpriced (sorry if that was the meaning of my sentence, English is not my mother tongue); what I was saying is that it is far too high for my wallet...
And indeed, as I said - and English - this is really a VERY nice set... to bad I am not being paid 10'000 a month
P.S. I received your razor today... OH MY! it will be hard to wait until tomorrow to try it... it is gorgeous!Last edited by Ockham; 07-07-2008 at 03:56 PM.

@Ockham: I´m also not the best with english, but I understand you. I never thought that you want to say the set is overpriced. Your post was totally o.k.
I´m very happy to hear, that you like your new razor. I´m shure it will shave well
@Joelski78: Thank you for the compliment for the site.
I´m first also thought, this is the same set.Last edited by Buddel; 07-07-2008 at 09:45 PM.

Gabor's work is top class. Every part is beautifully finished.

Ok... this was one of the best shaving experiences I have ever had. This W&B is just a fantastic shaver! She is hefty, beefy but smooth and elegant (yes yes this sound crazy but there lies the truth)... the scales are just gorgeous. Thanks Buddel! She will be in good company with my other razors.

Thanked: 0Set arrived
The razors are highly polished and look like new. There are some black spots but I am confident a few hours with Micromesh will sort them out. I am shaving with them on a day by day basis and so far each razor has been very good to excellent. I am very pleased to be able to shave with such fine razors. They are a joy to use!
