Easy,
No gold wash left. I mean, who wants a Goldedge even if the blade is in that good of a condition with no goldwash. Jeez, some people...

I sent him a message suggesting that not only had the gold worn off, but the ducks as well.
Interesting wear patter. Any thing that shows it is a Dubl Duck just wore right off.

Even though it's not a DD, it looks like a nice Solingen blade. If someone grabs it for $20-$30, it'd still be a good deal.

Has anyone confronted the buyer in an email? Hopefully the one bidder knows what they are doing.

I tried to be as nonconfrontational as possible:
usually the Dubl Ducks have a logo with 2 ducks either on the blade or the scales. I don't see them. Perhaps the razor doesn't match the box?
