    Default A Deal?

I woke up a little late and missed this one. Who knows how/if the seller responded to questions as to condition, nicks, etc. I'm surprised it went this low. I was sleeping, why didn't YOU bid?

To be honest, I didn't see that one, although these days I tend to go for cheaper less known stuff, as it has been rewarding me. Already have my high dollar stuff for the most part (near mint Wonderedges, old Friodurs, that sort of thing) now the fun is finding the ones not everyone is talking about.
I will also comment that in the picture, not much can be seen wrt the Goldedge, and the Puma looks completely trashed by corrosion, although it could be very minor. The other two are no names that might shave well but could be had pretty cheap I'll wager, so....
Don't beat yourself up too bad for it. Somebody took a gamble and hopefully it pays off for them!

I did bid on this one. Have you seen the bid history? Some EXTREME sniping going on there with some bids outbidding people before the previous bid was placed! I would have paid up to $110 for them. They are gorgeous and are worth more than I would have paid. In fact the person that won them got them for a song. I was disappointed at not getting them but tbh at the end of the day there will be others.....

Dom 1971 is a razor seller on ebay, he will break up the set and get his return quite easily.

I'd say it's probably a good deal, but the pictures aren't great and one looks to be rotting, so there is some risk. But risk is often the name of the game on ebay. As noted, as price per razor it's pretty good for what they are, but it's still more that I would have spent.

    Hmm.
I think the person may have bought those for a fair price, but they were not a steal IMHO considering the risk involved with bad pictures. He's gambling on at least two of them being in quite nice condition, in order to make a profit. Otherwise, he basically paid a fair price for a so-so Goldedge and a fixer upper Puma.
Nobody made any steals here, I don't think. If he makes a profit from it, good for him.
