Thanked: 3795With 6 hours to go the hone is at $660 (Aus) so it met the expectation of the seller. Can't wait to see what the final snipe might be!

Thanked: 3795I guess James' snipe didn't go through.
Final price was AU $720, or $615 USD.

If I see any of yooze at an antique store and you spot one of those HONES before I do, I'm pushing you out of the way to buy it first. It's Ebay city if I ever spot one.
Ok, ok, I'd be gentlemanly and yell out "Look at that DD Grim Reaper in mint condition for only $10 over there!!!" instead.

Chris, no need to spend a lot on a Norton hone. Here is one going at a bargain price with three days left to go.

Wow, can you imagine selling a barber hone in that condition for that price? Amazing.
Don't you get the feeling that there are probably a whole bevy of barber hones we use that would do a better job on their axes than that dual grit Norton stone?

I thought about going to the ax category on ebay but decided I better not open the door to AAD
