filharmonicas are nice, and a new one will undoubtedly command a premium over old, honed ones.
but for that money you could get a Zowada damascus, that's a ridiculous price

y'know looking at the bid history it is two guys. One with 1 previous transaction and the other with 8. Say that to say that you have people with little experience. I doubt if the seller is going to get paid whatever the final amount.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If he gets $680 for that he should ship it for free. I should sell them my collection of razors and then I can retire again.
if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
