Razor in good condition?
It sometimes makes you wonder about some sellers. Are they just plain ignorant, stupi*d or trying to make us look like fools.
I noticed this 'A. White razor' on e-bay. I was pretty much shocked at part of the item's description...
IT IS FULL CONCAVED AND TELOFIT
IN GOOD CONDITION
So I decided to contact the seller and see if this person was serious and actually knew what he was trying to sell as 'in good condition'. I just tried to be plain ignorant in my question.

Hi, I was wondering if you think I could hone out the nick part of the blade and still shave with it as it really seems to be in good condition but it's hard to tell from your picture. TIA

This was his response

Possibly. I don't know much about straight razors though. The blade still feels pretty sharp.

Happy shaving if you ask me!

Thanked: 31Wow. What a razor... Perhaps that chunk out of the heel is to fit around the septum for easier ATG on the moustache??? I don't think it's stupidity, personally; I think it's greed. Post any old thing on eBay and see how much you can get people to pay for it no matter its real value. I guess if someone wants a set of scales for a couple of bucks...
I hope the team makes it to Vegas. I hope the seller wasn't banking the whole trip on the sale of this razor.

I think they are selling it as a novelty. You must realize, most people would never imagine anyone still shaving with a straight.
