Thanked: 13245Yes Alex that first one has got to be the same guy and those are the prices they are bringing $265.
The question is are they putting good steel in there or is this place fileing some "Steel Warriors" and ripping people off????
That term 440 SS has always been a dead giveaway for normally crap razors....
thats why I'm asking...

The blade does say "STAINLESS CHINA," so I would have to assume it is a crap blade. Not that I have anything against "stainless China"-stamped blades...my favorite kitchen knife and my favorite pocket knife both have the same stamping. But let's just say they are my favorite because...they are all I really have in each area.

A bad razor in sheeps' skin
I sent off an e-mail to the seller and I asked him, Where he got the blade? Did he make it? What hardness number did he get on the rockwell hardness test? Can this blade hold an edge for shaving? He answered that he got it off another razor and said he could not answer my other questions. That tells me that it is probably
a cheaply made razor blade, I would stay away from buying that razor. razorjoe.Last edited by razorjoe; 09-27-2008 at 07:22 PM. Reason: mis spelled words

I also emailed the seller and asked him what kind of steel he used and he said stainless, he did not give the alloy, or any other information, I lost interest immediately.

I also emailed him to see what he says but my question was more direct then the rest of you fellas .
I flat out asked him if he made the blade or if just did the file work on an old razor .
Once I get a response I will let you guys know what he says
