LOL. Some of the stuff on eBay kills me. Even if you know nothing about razors, common sense should take over... should.

Actually for estate sales, it's often common practice to excavate the backyard and sell whatever is unearthed there, like that razor.

Ok, ok, I couldn't even type that with a straight face.

I do wonder if those scales are just covered with lather or something rather than being rotted. If you got the thing for a few bucks it might be worth it just for the scales.

Glen, are you trying for a Green Lizard 7 day set?

After two decades of slaughtering sheep, this razor has now become totally up to speed.
It clearly is in its prime.

    You guys know nothing.

That can totally be restored. All you need is:
    Some Maas
    A grinder/polisher
    New Pins and washers
    New Scales
    New Blade

Good as new. It'll look something like this when you're done.

I find that the professional ebayers that just sell any combination of crap they get their hands on often are the ones that do this. there is also a guy on there I have noticed will bundle razors together so there are a couple okay ones with total crap.

I know you aren't able to get as good a price but it is nice to see auctions from people that know what they're selling.
