    Default E-Bay Score.. Filarmonica #12

    Every now and then you do find a Diamond in the ruff...

    Filarmonica # 12 straight razor - eBay (item 290270900787 end time Oct-30-08 14:56:07 PDT)


    I just finished honing and cleaning this one up, a little MAAS and that technique I posted in the wiki about fixing ebay razors and this #12 is right as rain.... All she had was some tiny chipping up by the toe, that came right out..... Check out the SOTD tomorrow

    Execellent catch. At the prices these have been selling for you got a steal. I always like to see people get great buys from EBay. It's great when we can make a super buy on EBay. That is the main thing that leeps me going back. My latest steal ws a 9.8s pipe that was never honed, no rust, no pitting. THe scales were cracked and seperated at the wedge pin but fit back nicely. I wanted to keep it original for a while so I CAed the crack and it's fine for now. Price was ~$12.50. Maybe I'll rescale it in the spring.

    Shaved pretty good this morning too, typical silky smooth Spanish edge...
    Other than the nice slice I put by my jugular which was mine own stupid fault and not the razor been almost a year since I got myself, just a small reminder to pay attention
