I hope I didn't snipe this Red Imp from one of you guys...
... but I've been hankering for one for a while now, and this one's as close to perfect as I've seen. I may have overpaid a little, but she looks like a keeper. Still has the red in the tang stamps.

No need to apologise.
Ebay is free for all, no holds barred bidding.
Apologizing for winning a bid is like apologizing for winning a fight. You don't enter unless you plan to win
Granted: Technically you are not apologising. Your post is the equivalent of saying : 'I hope I didn't hurt you too much' after a KO. But do you really mean it?
Ok ok. Enough with the philosophical OTCongrats on the nice razor.

+1 Bruno. It isn't personal. If you want it, you determine how much you are willing to spend and go for it.

I used to liken sniping to running and grabbing an item off a store shelf, just as someone was reaching out to pick it up. But since I started bidding on straight razors (where sniping seems to be rampant), it seems I've come to look at sniping as more of a game. What is it about us wackos that like to hold ridiculously sharp objects to our faces and throats? Must we get a rush while buying them? I suppose, though, that anything worth having on eBay is bound to get sniped. It seems anonymity turns rudeness into sport. If I saw someone reaching for a dubl duck goldedge in an antique store, I wouldn't dream of grabbing it out from under their hand (as much as I might want to), but put that person a thousand miles away where I can't see them face to face, and all's fair in love and acquisition!

Thanked: 2So you're the one!!! Just kidding. I had a watch on that one but didn't pull the trigger since my tv is starting to die and with it the str8 budget. As stated above, glad a SRP member got it. Congrats!
