A fair price IMHO. I paid $125.00 for a 7/8 in like condition. It is the only Friodur I have and one of the sharpest razors I ever received out of the box.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If its damn near new, its a fair price in comparison to a new DOVO of similar quality!
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

I'd say you got a deal. I paid $75 for my Friodur, but it wasn't new (although it was in like new shape) and it didn't come with a box either.

Thanked: 953looks like you got a very sweet deal. Personally, I don't care about the mangey box, I just want the blade to look decent and shave good, and that applies to yours for sure.
I love my friodur by the way having used it a few times. I'm very happy with it. I ovepaid for a not newish wusthof recently, so I'll be curious to see how that compares.
