Speculating on Ebay razor prices
I agree with a recent thread that razor prices on Ebay overall have seemed to stagnate or decrease as of late.
My speculation is that prices may increase after the holiday season with more disposable income available to people. I have a small amount of razors etc, that I'm holding off on putting on the Bay until after the first of the year.
Either way it will be interesting to see if post holiday season will have a noticeable effect.

I think it depends on the economy. People are tending to hold onto their $$. Every time you turn on the news or look at the paper it is gloom & doom. I noticed within the last few months that stuff posted in BST on other forums and in the classifieds here isn't moving as quickly as it would have a year ago. I hope it picks up. I have a bunch of DEs I plan on putting on ebay if I ever get off of my lazy duff and do it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

There is also a seasonal aspect - people go away for Xmas so I like to get my items in before mid December and shortly after New Year.

I think disposable income is drying up, things are getting tight for everybody. its trickle down too, people get tight, they stop spending on extras (housekeeping, gardeners, dining) subsequently those people all start having trouble, etc. etc.

In general you'll see the number of listings go way down at and just after Christmas. I have found the best time to buy on Eboy if you really want a bargain is in the week after Christmas and before New Years. Some of the best bargains I have ever gotten were then.
