Thanked: 953bad lighting or bad blade?
this blade looks all wrong to me. I asked the seller if it's just bad lighting and he said that's what it is, but I've never seen a BB photo that looked like this. Any thoughts?

Whatever the lighting it looks like it is well used. Maybe too well used for my $$. Lotta hone wear and uneven too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 13236"The Popular" by Beau Brummel, great shaver but not rare enough to buy that one Cat, they come up quite often on the bay, wait for a stright edged one... that has some serious toe wear.... It popped up the other day in my saved searches too...

Glen, can I Subscribe to your razor finding service? ;-). Seriously, I bought a razor that had a slight frown. I decided that buying on Ebay was too hard for me. I have restricted myself to new and NOS blades. I have also bought from the classifieds but have found that I am not as fast as other users so I always miss the "good" ones. My experience with the classifieds has ok but not great...

Thanks Glen, expect to hear from me. From what I have seen, you and I like different types of razor. I do not think that I we will have a conflict. ;-)

Thanked: 5It looks like the seller used a "sharpening" filter on the photo. It is a digital process that is usually over-used to compensate for poor focusing. I see it a lot in newspaper photos.
