Default Did I overpay on this "unused" friodur?

I got this off the bay for $110. Did I overpay? It was advertised as unused, and I just got it and it may well be unused (not sure how anyone really ever knows, but I see no hone wear at all and it's in very nice shape). I wanted it more than the money (was looking for a 5/8 friodur when it came out) and am very psyched (I'd rather overpay for something I really want than underpay for something I don't really want - both have happened) but was surprised the bidding took it north of $100, and the people I was bidding against didn't have a tone of buys so I wondered if we were nubing each other. .

Not sure if you over paid... bu the razor looks really nice! The important thing is that you are happy with your purchase... and I think, though I have limited experience shaving and no experience honing, that it's a very nice razor. Good one!

I think whats most important is that you like what you got and know you did enough research to fell good that you paid at least a fair price for the razor.

Razors can and are, in my opinion, a very personal choice when it comes to picking one out that you may potentially have for many many years and may even pass down to another generation.

Feel good knowing that you were actually able to make a decision on what one you wanted lol cause I am sure having trouble with my next purchase !

I've paid and sold for a tad more than that for a couple of the same razors. Based on my experience, you didn't steal it, but I don't think you overpaid, really.

Prices are so flakey on E-Bay. Some really nice items going under the radar, some really nice stuff getting way over bid, maybe by folks with too much time and money on their hands. This Fridour is definitely not under the radar, but I’ve seen many Fridours go for much higher. I’d call it decent value. More importantly if you really wanted it, you did OK. Fridour – good call, you are going to love that puppy.

Is that a reflection or is there a slight frown in the center of the blade?

I've sold numerous 3/4 Friodurs for about the same price recently. Prices are mostly going down so I would call what you paid only fair.
