How did I do with this? Ebay PUMA (though I don't see no felines on the scales)

Thanks! Does anyone know if those are puma scales? I bought it because I loved the look of it and the blade is clearly puma and the price wasn't too bad ($61) but I couldn't see anything on the scales that identified them as puma scales, and I thought their scales usually had a cat on them.

Anyone know if those are puma scales - for all I know there is an identifier and I just can't pick it up in the picture. It will arrive soon enough but I'm curious if anyone recognizes the model and scales?

Probably an older Puma than the 60's/70's types with kitty on scales. But even without kitty I do not recall 3 pin scales for old Pumas 1900-1930's . May be a rescale but it doesnt make it less desirable for a blade that clean..

Looking at it again, I think the third pin isn't actually filled with a pin - looks like an emptly pin hole. I don't know if that means it's a rescale - if the thrid pin interfered with the blade I don't think just removing the pin itself would solve it. I'm going to just have to wait till it arrives looks like.

I got this today. I think it is just an older one - there are three pins, but the middle pins are really small, and I saw a three pinned puma today on ebay that had the same kind of third pins - there but small - that had a sticker wiith a bunch of words on it rather than the cat face on the body of the scale. So my guess is these are puma scales that had the sticker and the sticker is just history. I'm pleased with the look and feel of this thing - now to try it!
