Fine, I won't bid on it if somebody's drivin it up
I guess I don't get it, what's the reason to start driving the price up days before it ends? then it ends up going higher, IMO.
George WOSTENHOLM IXL 7/8 Straight Razor shave ready! - eBay (item 150320975775 end time Jan-20-09 13:06:46 PST)
I was going to bid on it but looks like somebody else, or more than one person, are going to want it more. I was just interested in it because of the slight smile. Lord knows I don't need any more razors though.

Thanked: 13245Proud Sniper !!!!
Sniper programs rule
I honestly believe they keep the prices more in line since there is no bidding, you set the price and walk away, heck you can even do each other a favor and pull a snipe unlike a bid...

Yeah, I think it is better too, you know what you're really willing to spend, you end up not getting into the competitive side of it and going way over. I still don't normally set my snipe until the day before.

Thanked: 13245Now I used to do that but I kept missing good deals that I would forget about...
I now set about a dozen $25-30 snipes each week 90% of which I don't get... One day before a special one that I really want I will bump the snipe..
But every now and then I hit one of those $25 jackpots payouts and score a fantastic razor for really cheap...
Wait why am I telling you this?????

Red,
didn't I tell you to stay away from the e-flea market...
How are you going to explain to the wife you bought a razor because it had a nice smile.
I guess any excuse is good enough to hit the buy button...
You're addicted! admit it!

If I see a razor-or anything for that matter on ebay that interests me, I just put in the bid. Bid what you are willing to pay.Everybody HAS A PRICE they will pay and no more.
There always is a chance that a shill bidder would drive up the price-but on most ebay razor's I'll usually put in the bid and check it once the auction is over. I don't want it-but THAT is a nice razor.
