Thanked: 735Fuzzy crapshoot
I just won this Tally Ho...
It could be OK, it could be trash.....I'm banking on the fact that it is a heavy grind Sheffield so I'll have plenty of steel to be able to sand down, etc, even if it is in tough shape.
$12.67? Worth a shot!

Good God and I thought I was bad with cameras! The only negative thing I could see was some wear on the toe and spine, hopefully you are right and there is plenty of metal to work with, if all is well, not a bad buy!

Fuzzy crapshoot
The color of the rust looks like it is light surface rust & not thick scaly rust that leaves deep pit marks.

Well worth a shot at that price.
I have one screaming for a resto but I'm a lousy payer so I always put my stuff last. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 953dude, with your creativity, you might as well order a hand saw, and grind it down to a meat chopper with no hone wear.
but that one looks fun to play with.

Good for you. I really wanted that Tally Ho, but I just could not swing it. I had just landed my first W&B and I'm not looking forward to explaining that to the little lady.
Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Thanked: 735Looks pretty good in person. Mostly surface tarnish, some pitting, but not that bad, just enough to add "character"
.
Nice wedge with smile.
This is going to be transformed into something else...
