    Default eBay hones?

I currently have a Norton 4k/8k stone, but was looking for something finer to polish with. I'm new to honing equipment for straights, and have been looking around at Shapton's and Chinese stones. I found these on ebay, and they seem really cheep compared to other prices out there.

    Good deal or rip off?

That's where i got mine from. Chinese 12k's are about £30-£35 in the shops here, & that's when you can find them!
They come fairly well lapped, but not quite perfect. I'm happy with mine & the seller couldn't be faulted.

Just a heads up, you can get the same stone from woodcraft (Buy Natural Polishing Water Stone, Water Stones - Woodcraft.com). (I'm assuming you are in the US, which you might not be). If there is a woodcraft near you, it would save you shipping. Even if there is not a woodcraft near you, shipping might be faster. Just something to consider.

wojtec is a good seller, so I don't think you'll have any problems ordering from him.
