    Default What am I missing

    I've spent a fair bit of time nerding out here and never, ever have I heard of this razor brand, let alone would I consider spending even $10 for a broken razor.

    The razor looks toast, but the scale look ok. $40. What gives.

    I don't know that the razor is toast; I think one might be able to grind off the tip. The scales are pretty nice, and I've seen the scales do some strange things to prices (search lobster scales). Whatever the reason, the guy who won must have really wanted it. He bid, was outbid, and bid again to take her.
