    I would not do that.

I'd put those scales on my Double Arrow, and sell the broken blade in the DA scales. Photo would be of closed razor ofc.

I have been Emailing the seller too. He seems like a good guy with little knowledge about straights. I bought it with hopes of finding a Wonderedge with bad scales and a workable blade.

Now I have 2 project Ducks. this one and a Grim Reaper with great scales and a short blade.

As new as I am with straights my favorite razor is a Dubl Duck Satinwedge, I need to restore it.

I have a wonderedge with bad scales and a workable blade - I was hoping he'd go down to $5 total for me lol

I can see a goof ball trying to pry the remnants of shaving soap out of a mug and doing the damage.

    Default Wonderedge

I got the Wonderedge in today. The scales look pretty good and the blade looks like someone tried to grind it into a butter knife. I took a couple pictures and will try to get them to show here.

Something else, Hoglahoo (Lee) has a Wonderedge with bad scales and a usable blade he has offered to sell me. Thanks Lee

You're right, it does actually look like a breadknife...
