    Lol it was a great decision for you lol . Opted to buy a set of lucky strike hones . I have never heard of the brand before and figured I would test them out to see if they are any good

    From the less than stellar pics it looks like the bottom will be usable but the top side (logo side) looks like it has a large chip in the edge near the middle. Based on my experience you have your work cut out for you. It may not turn out to be the bargain you thought if you wear out a $50 diamond hone lapping past that chip.

    Post your results...I'd be very interested in hearing what you used, how you did it, and how long it took.

    For sure, I will definitely do that. I think I do have my work cut out for me, but I like a challenge. Hopefully it'll turn into something useful, if not, at least I'll have learned my lesson!
