Thanked: 3795I'm pretty sure that's the one duck I will never own, unless I happen upon one at an antique show. I'm certainly never going to begin a bidding war in any auction for one of those. It's just not worth that much to me. I lucked into a WonderEdge with a pristine edge and bevel but with surface pitting only affecting its aesthetics and I will consider myself lucky to have it. I got the rest of my ducks before the bandwagon blew up a few years back and I doubt if I'll ever get one on ebay again.
The sad thing is, a lot of the duck scales are just rotting crap anyway. Love the blades, dread the scales.

Thanked: 346Weren't the Grim Reapers the top-of-the line razor before they changed the name to Wonderedge? So think older, rarer Wonderedge, and the price seems less surprising. And it looks to be in good shape too, which is unusual for a Reaper.

Yep, no surprises on this one. I've never seen them go cheap in good condition. But I don't really look much.

Thanked: 27Thanks! My wife and I love razors, and we especially love Dubl Ducks! Of course the Wonderedge is THE BEST Dubl Duck, but I how often do you see a Lifetime like this, and in this kind of condition? This is a super tight razor! WE LOVE IT! Customers of ours have tried and tried to get us in this site, so we finally made time to check you guys out. We love it so far, and everyone seems very nice. We spend most of our time with razors; cleaning, polishing, buffing, shaving, describing, packaging, ect.ect...so we have not had a lot of spare time to browse the shaving sites. Glad we did though. Enjoy the pics!

Thanked: 27Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm sure this will be a nice place to discuss shaving interest, and learn a thing or two in the process. This DD is nice for sure. I still can't believe how tight the blade is on the pivot, and the pins are without a single scratch, so I doubt it's ever been peened or anything of that nature. Hone wear is even for the most part, and the edge is sweet! Besides the price, what's not to love?
