It was hard to resist, but I succeeded. Having a few of these already was the key, even though a capped end certainly was very appealing
Actually looks like your snipe wasn't outsniped, it just wasn't high enough. The highest bidder had his bid in few hours before the end.
As always the person willing to pay most wins, no matter when they place their bid

I saw it and was thinking about it, but I just bought 6 blades off ebay including a similar styled Greaves.
Ultimately, the budget and sensibility won, and I held off bidding. She is a very nice blade, though; I would have thought she would go for more.
