Montgomery Ward & Co????
Sniped this one, though it looks like the snipe was completely unnecessary.
I'm hoping it's a Spanish point, which it looks to be from the pictures.
Either way, I've never heard of the brand and was hoping to get more info if you guys have any.
Since it was a ebay win I put it here, I won't be offended if it needs to be moved the the razor section.
Thanks!

I can't link to the site. Montgomery Ward was a department store chain - kind of like Sears - I think, so I imagine they had someone make it for them. Does it say where it was made?

The pics a too fuzzy to see if there is more info on the tang. I'll wait and see when I get it.

That is a nice looking blade. I'd say you did quite well for your money, assuming she can be made into a shaver.

Nice Looking Razor
The razor looks like a Henckels 19.
It is very clean too.
You did well.

Good price for a nice looking razor. Hopefully it'll hone up nicely, but it certainly looks like it will.

Thanked: 156Good price, good find too.
Most rebranded razors I've seen have been made in Germany. That particular brand might not be, but theres a good possibility.

Thanks for all the positive reinforcement guys. Now I really can't wait to get it.
As much as I want a bigger name like Henckels or Boker I can't resist American blades for their price.
I've seen many a NOS blade go for 10 bucks because it had the name of an American company on it, and like Leighton said, most of them are German steel. Oh well, more for me.
