I seriously thought about going after it, but it's just a bit too gnarly looking for me.

That looks like it'd be a bugger to hone! Is it just my eyes, or does that spine look like it's all over the place?

Thanked: 5Na your right it looks like there is uneven honeware on portions of the spine, like someone has really gone to work on it

Also at the edge the scalloped look of the shiny places. On the normal TI Dam it is a continuous line. Probably an inexperienced honer, between that scalloped look and the spine it does look like some sort of uneven honing. Those TI Dams are notoriously tough to put an edge on.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Someone really monkeyed with that razor. I'd hate to have to hone it now.

Thanked: 0Apart from the very uneven spine and the more obvious edge, there is something alse I noticed: the wave pattern on the edge goes left to right on one side and right to left on the other. That is rather strange, and makes it seem like the wave pattern was made intentionally, although it is much to uneve and jagged to have been done by the TI craftsman. Its just wierd.
If anyone has got this please let us know what is up with the edge.
