My goodness what a find!
Well I found this auction about 4 days ago and waited anxiously hoping it would go un-noticed. Looks like I got my wish. I just needed to share this with people who can appreciate the deal I got.
Check it out!

I can't believe you got it that low even though someone else had seen it! Well done. Two small, but perfectly formed combi's & a BBW?

And THAT is what keeps me coming back to e-bay! What a score...
Looks like two combination Belgians, but I can't figure the other one. Maybe a blue, maybe something even better! Let us know, and congratulations!
PS-that strop looks good too. Linen or canvas?

Most of us Ebay hawkers use key search words like: "Straight Razor", "Strop", "Leather Strop", "Hone", "Sharpening Hone", "Sharpening Stone", "Stone", and on and on......
This auction did not have any of the common key words. It was Vintage Antique Barber Supplies, or something to that effect. That was the reason, none of us hawkers saw this one. Most of us wont look under "Barber", maybe we will in the future! I might...
What I spotted in the picture was the two sided hone, approximately 7" x 2". That one really looks interesting!
Let us know what it is.
Congratulations on your find,
Steve

Doesn't look as large as 7"x2", unless that strop is about 4" wide! I think it's smaller, but a great deal. Hope the strop cleans up well for you.

I was thinking a 4X2 and a 6X1.5 or so. The third stone looks like a plain BBW but we'll see.
@ Steve: I was just telling my wife the same thing, how if it even had the word stone in the title other people would have found it.
I've also seen a coticule sold as a "soap stone" because the seller knew you could use soap lather to hone with it.
I told the wife what my max bid was on it and let's just say she was quite happy I got it for much less.
I collect rocks and minerals too so I try to convince the wife that my hones are great deals because they satisfy two of my hobbies.

You robbed them, I dont see how with other bidders competing though, very nice grab!

The combo belgians are something like 2"x3.5" and 1"x5", the belgian blue will be good for slurry stone. The seller is a total jerk, I hope they arrive well.
That's all I will say.

Gugi, I know you said that's all you will say but that's an awfully ominous statement. Have you had a bad experience with them in the past?
Either way, I hope they arrive well too.
