Default UK source large Muller thuringians.

I keep an eye on this guy's stuff & he's got thuringians in. They're a very good price too!
Thuringian Water Hone + Rubbing Stone - For Open Razors on eBay, also, Barber Shop Shaving, Vanity Perfume Grooming, Collectables (end time 03-May-09 19:43:33 BST)
They're the same as the one Russell did a review on AFAIK.

MST is not the same as Muller waterstone reviewed by Russel.

Tony Miller used to sell MST stones. He also got a Muller stone (as reviewed by Russel) from me so he'll be able to tell you more about the differences between the stones. Tony is very pleasant to deal with and very communicative.

    Default MST X Muller

Hello Kees. The seller is well known senior member here. No reson for me to be suspicious. It came in what looks like an original paperwork which says Muller's Water Grindstones the same saying simmilar in german Muller- Wasserabziehstein. The seller is well known senior member here. No reson for me to be suspicious.

No offense taken. I had just looked at the initial picture of the listing. Had I scrolled down to the bottom I would have seen the Muller label. The Muller of the label is not the same as the Muller of MST (=Muller SchleifTechnik). Muller is one of the commonest last names in Germany. MST's own labels are different but of course the may well sell the other Muller's hones as well.

You got to be aware that about 1 quarter of the Muller stones have coarse inclusions or veins that make them unsuitable for honing a razor. If you buy one ask whether you can send it back in case of irregularities. Or, if seller is senior member here ask him to unwrap the hone and check if it is suitable.

    Default Returns

I did have different manufacturing fault (not sellers) with the stone but it was immediately solved by seller to my satisfaction.
