You know what's aggravating. That went for 150 bucks, When I'b bidding on Wonderedge's, they always seem to go over 300 hundred....Lately, I've been losing every bid to sniping programs too, by two bucks usually.
    We have assumed control !

At least you weren't offered $130 and refused....

Same here with the snipers! I'm always 2nd best... Kind of...stinks.

It does get old after a while. I wouldn't mind if the bidding got out of hand, but to lose by 2 bucks, Stinks.....

Don't worry Leighton, the $130 only seems good because you see now that it was less than the item eventually went for. Clearly when they offered it to you for that price you didn't think it was worth it.

That and I'm sure you found something just as nice to spend the money on.

Same thing goes for snipes. Ask yourself before you place your bid, "OK if someone bid $2 higher, how much higher than that would I go?" I go through this setting my snipes. That way, when one gets outbid. I just tell myself "that's more than I decided it was worth". For me, it helps take some of the emotion and sense of competition out of it.

The people that bid $300+ for a Dorko obviously haven't done that. I would end up being a little disappointed in my self for not controlling the impulse to continue bidding (and my wife would be a LOT disappointed).
