The guy's a jerk! All that nonsense blaming the customer when all he has to do is put up a better picture. I'd send him a message to tell him so, but he might "blacklist" me

Well thank you very much! Thanks for the back-up!

My soap, my listing, my sincerest apologies for any confusion I caused any of you guys.

I certainly do not intend to be deceptive in any way, on any of our listings. I had a couple of customers to write thinking that their package arrival was not complete because it did not contain the Wonderedge, or other great items. So, I added the top paragraph to clear things up. We were receiving several questions about the photos and such, so I figured the top paragraph would do it. Wrong again, only angered people, which was certainly not my intent. I now have relisted the soap with only a photo of the soap, and I re-worded the title per ebay request, so that it is less confusing for anyone. Hopefully this will work better for everyone.
To those that think we were trying to be deceptive then you really do not know us, and chances are that you have never done business with us ~ anyone who has done business with us knows what kind of people we really are, and I'm sure will quickly tell you that we do not fit in the rude category some of you have put us in. You certainly can't say my wife is rude when she's the sweetest person any of you will ever meet. I may get hot headed at times after dealing with another hot head over something ridiculous, but I certainly have the utmost respect for any person who isn't rude. Ask Lynn, bet he tells you what I'm telling you. We have no reason to be decpetive, and do not even make money on the soap. Just thought it would add a touch to our store since so many customers were asking about any soaps we prefer.
I purchased the wonderedge the very morning I listed the soap so was like a kid on Christmas with my new toy and couldn't wait to take photos of it. Initially the only photo that was supposed to be in the listing is of the soap by itself, but after seeing how great the photos came out I wanted to show it off. I'll admit, my mistake, you can bet it won't happen again. Everyone makes mistakes. Our descriptions are as honest as they come, and when we created that listing, it was an honest mistake. I understand that some of you will never see it that way, and I don't expect you too, but you don't have to trash talk my wife or myself when you know nothing about us. That is very disrespectful. I've browsed several off these shaving sites before I decided that this one had the best group of people. Maybe I was wrong about that too. Hopefully not. I'm stand up, and have no problem admitting I'm wrong. Can you do the same?

To the sellers' credit, the fine print is not all that fine, and I do think they are putting the product in an appealing context rather than trying to fool anybody. And it's always good to be reminded, we should always read the whole listing before bidding on anything. Still, I think in their place I'd do a little Photoshopping to blur the tempting goodies in the background a bit.

Thank you! You are absolutely right.

I do good to get an item listed on ebay at all with my lack of computer skills, so photo blurring is really not an option I know how to take advantage of. I'm sure it's easy if it's a "2 Minute" process, but I'm the old man that doesn't know it until you show it to me, and then show me how to use it. Sorry ):

His way of dealing with the predictable consequences is to shoot his mouth off about how stupid ebay buyers can be.

Then he says: "You will find us to be polite, courteous, concerned, and as helpful as we possibly can be; we expect the same treatment and respect in return."

He isn't doing himself any favours TBH.

Sorry you feel that way about us. I feel that our feedback speaks for itself. ~ No hard feelings here though, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, doesn't matter who's right or wrong. Right?

I have no particular feelings on the matter. But as I said, you weren't doing yourself any favours by adopting that tone in your auction.

Thanks for taking the time to explain some.

It is so nice when this community freely helps one of its fellow members. Because of our comments, the page has been redesigned. It’s now so friendly. I am sure the soap sales will go up a few percentages since the change.

He’s probably very busy with the increase in sales, but I am sure he will be around to thank us soon.
