Thanked: 171King Midas Hone? Pricey?
I was wondering why this particular hone went for so much just tonight?

Item number 250402880326 if the link doesn't work.
I was thinking this was just another barber hone? Is there something special about it that makes it more sought after, or is it just a simple case of someone got carried away with the bidding? I mean, even swatys don't go for that much, and I had thought swatys were one of if not the most sought after barber hone?Last edited by pjrage; 04-14-2009 at 02:52 AM.

Thanked: 13245E-bay is a mystery sometimes...
It is a nice two sided hone, I have two of them, one is even stamped Dubl Duck and I think I paid $20 for that one, the other is a mint Cattaraugus two sided that I got for less.... I would guess two people wanted the same hone...

Thanked: 171Ah ok, I was half expecting to learn that it was in fact a highly sought after hone (like an escher or something) for whatever reason and that the price it went for was actually really cheap!
Guess it's just another ebay mystery
