Things are just about as bad with Filarmonicas. Both are razors I would like but not at $200+

    That's one of Paulo's razors.

Paulo is a razor collector in Italy, he has sold a few Dorko's and a number of Les+++Croix and a couple of Glubusmen among others in the past few months. He has said that most of his collection is unused mint condition and that he is funding another project with his razor sales. Also his collection is primarily German razors.

A lot of realy nice razors coming from his collection.

for razors, both brands mentioned that are going too high, that are production razors, and seem to be pretty easy to come by in great condition I think the prices are WAY WAY too high! I too would like to own a filharmonica, a friodur and a dorko, but I don't want any of them THAT bad.

Now, Alex's razors on the other hand......that frame back with the b&w scales almost got me, but there all in a range outside my pay (now, a couple more years when these kids can start running a sewing machine.... )

    Amen Red!... on all counts

I'd also like a DD wonderedge and a W&B for barbers use chopper... but those are also way to high. I'll wait it out.

Dorkos, Pumas, fillies, DD's, Choppers, TI's ... they're all overpriced. I am glad I got them when I did. They're doing way better than my 401K.

Well, that line works with SWMBO, too.

    you forgot the Dovo

$240 shipped - that's a pretty penny, but these are some smoooooth shavers. plus a fair comparison has to be against other new razors and it works quite favorably for it.

i did sell my dorko wedge not because it wasn't one of the best shavers i've had, but because it had round point and plastic scales. ivory is so much better
