Thanked: 402
Here goes:
My razors reside in cuban cigar cases I use to buy on eBay.
I've already got 5 of them full, now I've ordered 2 more to sort them better.
Esplendidos are perfect for the format.
One thing I've noticed is, that most offers for those cigar cases have a decent little hint that the seller wants to sell the cigars (duty free) if you contact him privately.
Usually I just ignore and get my cases fine. The vendor might be a bit grumpy but well, that's life.
TODAY a seller contacted me and asked to please not send any money if I do not want cigars.
I replied that I need the case for my razors and if he's got any more cases I'd be happy and included a "sorry for the duty free cigars".
Now he wants to send the money back, cause I don't buy cigars!
Just replied with a quite elaborated explanation that ended up with "not having much time but willing to invest some to stop this nonsense".
Just cannot believe how fresh / stupid people possibly can be.Last edited by 0livia; 04-29-2009 at 08:30 PM.

Thanked: 402Really? Naaaa, I'm a Kharma theorist.
Guess my explanation woke him up
but in case it didn't and I don't get what I won
I'll report him to eBay I guess.
Still laughing about how stupid he is. Thats priceless!

Paypal has an issue with Tobacco.
Any seller collecting funds for tobacco will lose their pay pal buying and selling account privileges.
Also, I know Ebay has an issue with tobacco sales as well.
To me, this seller is 'bending' the rules... this tells me that this seller isnt a good one, even though their product may be genuine.
I usually buy the cigars, smoke them, and keep the box for razor storage.
To each their own, I guess ...

Thanked: 402Oh certainly he bends the rules.
Its all for the tax.
The other one does, too
You can see the cigars even and the description says that they
"just arrived from Cuba and for questions pleeeaaassse mail!!!"
Of course I won't. I just paid and don't expect anything but the case.

I stumble across a still sealed case of Cubans now and then :-) and I never thought about the beauty (and just good thinking) of keeping my extra razors in one of those boxes after the contents have gone to ash. Great idea! Classic box for a classic razors!
