Thread: Anyone here from MD? Huge lot of razors for auction on Sat.

While looking for some razors, I found a giant collection of razors going up for auction on Sat. in Berlin MD. I thought that anyone who is near would like to know, as it would be a serious score for someone. I counted over 80 straight razors in the lot!

Nice find! Looks like it'd be a great haul, but hard to be certain without seeing the condition of the blades & how much work they'd need. Also, there are at least two Durham Duplex jobbies in there, so you're a couple down to start with!

If you scroll all the way to the bottom there's 8-10 pictures of lots of razors. Some may be repeats, but there's a lot more than that first 2 pics. Somebody is probably going to make a small fortune reselling those.

Holy crap you're right, well over 100 razors, including 1 display case, and 1 stand up wooden case that holds 60 (almost 2/3 full). Even if one had to clean/restore a lot of them, they would still make a killing, and be busy for the rest of their life, I wonder if the auctioneer would take absentee bids? Not for myself of course, but maybe someone here who has some money to spare for a bid. It might be worth a phone call for someone to make.
