Default DD Hone - worth it?

Just saw this and almost bid, but then I saw the chip on the finishing side which made me decline bidding.

ANTIQUE RAZOR HONE SHARPENING STONE DUBL DUCK in BOX - eBay (item 350195629597 end time May-04-09 16:54:26 PDT)

Still, being a DD hone I expect it'll generate a decent selling price.

DD hones were made by that same company in Iowa that made the ones for everybody else so nothing special there.

The chip is inconsequential unless you are buying it as an investment. It is a nice hone, it's just going to go for a high price because of the name.
