DD Hone - worth it?
Just saw this and almost bid, but then I saw the chip on the finishing side which made me decline bidding.
ANTIQUE RAZOR HONE SHARPENING STONE DUBL DUCK in BOX - eBay (item 350195629597 end time May-04-09 16:54:26 PDT)
Still, being a DD hone I expect it'll generate a decent selling price.

DD hones were made by that same company in Iowa that made the ones for everybody else so nothing special there.

Thanked: 3795The chip is inconsequential unless you are buying it as an investment. It is a nice hone, it's just going to go for a high price because of the name.
