Haha, I saw that one. I don't understand how it's mint, unless the rust is mint flavored...

Thanked: 317WTF? Mint? This should be in that "Don't be a moron" thread about garbage on ebay.
The thing isn't garbage, but it sure as heck isn't even close to "mint condition."
Of course, for $16.50, you get what you pay for.

Thanked: 317What's funny, is that he made no attempt what so ever to disguise the appearance of the razor in the photographs.
As least most of the guys selling zeepks oil the blades and avoid close-ups. He's no only an asshole, but lazy to boot.

Don't you get it?
Those spots are part of the Damascus steel pattern

Well I wouldn't necessarily call the seller lazy or an asshole as he or she may just be ignorant of what a mint straight razor is supposed to look like (benefit of the doubt and all that, ya know)
But it did strike me funny enough that I thought I should share the oddity
I wouldn't even say it is terribly overpriced, maybe a Trusteel collector can give her a good home!Find me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

See the tang and the tail? From about where it gets hard to polish on the blade side, to the whole tail....
.....RUST. This thing must have looked like an old can when someone found it!
